My aim in life is to become a successful fashion journalist/stylist, fingers crossed, in a prostegious magazine such as Vogue, or even Cleo/Cosmopolitan. Anna has become my inspiration, I wish to be like her, I aspire to have the same level of self-discipline and motivation as she holds more so than her distant persona of being "cold" and "icy" or a more common phrase to sum it up, "a bitch". Even though I do not personally know Miss Wintour, so I can only make presumptions and talk from my own personal opinion, from seeing a few select interviews, I do not believe her to be a "bitch" I personally believe she is just a determined woman who knows what she wants and how to get it, and whether or not that means stepping on a few people's toes I believe it's okay, I was watching an interview on 60 minutes and she said something along the lines of "we are here to do a job" (that is NOT a direct quote, I was just summing up what she said), I took it to mean that she does not feel the need to be best friends with everyone in the office as she is not there to make friends, she is there to produce a high-class, fantastic magazine.Although she did mention she has been working with some of her co-workers for over 20 years.
I was particularly fond of her support for young designers and her role in kicking off careers of designers such as John Galliano, who without her assistants would "not be working in the house of Dior today".
Unfortunatly I did not know about "The September Issue" until recently and did not get to catch it in cinema's, but I am eagerly awaiting it's arrival to the shops so I can go out and purchase it ASAP!
